From our home and school in Anse-à-Pitres, in southeastern Haiti, we work tirelessly for children's rights. At AYMY, boys and girls who come from situations of extreme vulnerability find a place to live, learn and grow in a safe environment, with dignity and hope.
About Haiti
Haiti is going through a major humanitarian crisis, widespread violence and the collapse of its essential services. And the reality is that almost no one seems to care.
About AYMY
AYMY was symbolically born the night Lucía felt, after understanding the reality faced by the children she met on the streets of Pedernales, that she could not abandon them.
Our Projects
Discover what we're working on, why it's vital, and how you can be part of the solution.

URGENT Humanitarian Aid
URGENT CRISIS: ensure the survival of our programs after the suspension of international aid. 300 children at immediate risk. We only cover 35% of necessary monthly expenses.
What do we need URGENTLY?
- $10,000 monthly to cover funding deficit
- Recurring sponsors to ensure stability
- Emergency donations to prevent closure
- Immediate support for 62 children in the home and 165 in the school

The AYMY Bakery
Objective: expand and improve the current baking operation to produce quality bread suitable for public sale, while creating a professional training workshop.
What do we need?
- Infrastructure renovation and expansion ($15,873)
- Professional bakery equipment ($4,133)
- Training with Haitian master baker ($1,524)
- Training course materials ($757)

Drinking Water Well
Objective: guarantee access to filtered water safely and sustainably for 800 people daily in Anse-à-Pitres, eliminating the need to buy water in the Dominican Republic and reducing health risks.
What do we need?
- Phase 1 (UNDERWAY): Well drilling, storage tanks and chlorination system
- Phase 2 (if necessary): Complete purification plant ($35,000)
- Ongoing training in safe water treatment
- Maintenance of existing community faucet

Nest Homes and Community Daycare
Objective: establish five nest homes and a community daycare to provide safe care for 75 children ages 0-5, allowing their older siblings to attend school instead of caring for them.
What do we need?
- Adaptation and equipment for 5 nest homes
- Construction of community daycare (capacity 50 children)
- Training of local caregivers in health and first aid
- Daily meals and supplies for 75 children
- Specialized transport for resource distribution
THE HOME
Our care centre provides children with a safe environment free from violence, balanced nutrition, and health supervision in a family atmosphere full of emotional support.

THE SCHOOL
At AYMY school, we welcome children with educational delays. For this reason, we follow a school programme of two courses per year, in order to facilitate children's integration into vocational training and/or higher education.
We Are Not Alone
AYMY would not be possible without the support of committed organizations and individuals who believe in our project and help us make it grow.

We Are Transparent
We want you to get to know us better, to share with you every step we take and how we use every euro we receive.

Lucia's Children
This documentary was a wonderful gift that we want to share with you. In it, you'll understand what AYMY is and why, despite a thousand challenges, we're still here.

Annual Reports
Although a year cannot be described with numbers alone, they are essential to understand the impact of what we do every day.
